You will join a dynamic team of 70 people where your role will involve ensuring seamless design allowing for efficient production and timely delivery of our products. We are a diverse team, rich in experiences and different personalities, all united to help grow the men and women and the company.
Your mission
The Mechatronic Engineer is the technical parent of electromechanical products. They develop robust, compliant, and cost-effective technical solutions and are also specialized in the design of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Technical Authority on Projects: Assume full technical responsibility for electromechanical products throughout the development cycle and during mass production.
- Design of Printed Circuits: Create multilayer printed circuits optimizing performance (impedance, signal isolation, RF) while respecting mechanical and electrical constraints.
- Development of Technical Solutions: Based on customer specifications, develop robust and economically viable technical solutions that meet electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements.
- Requirements Management: Verify and manage customer requirements, translate them into detailed technical specifications, and maintain verification control documents (VCD).
- Technical Documentation: Write comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
- RF Simulations and Testing Management: Perform RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and conduct validation tests (measuring RF parameters: IL/RL).
- Technical Support and R&D: Participate in defining the R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
- Management of External Relationships: Ensure interface with customers and suppliers on technical aspects of products, managing discussions related to requirements, non-conformities, and waiver requests.
- Capitalization of Feedback: Integrate feedback into continuous improvement of products and processes.
Your story
- Education: Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or control systems (EPF, HES, Master or equivalent).
- Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in PCB design using Altium Designer and interdisciplinary engineering (demanding applications such as aerospace, scientific instruments, military, etc.).
- Mastery of RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS) and RF measurement instruments (spectrum analyzers, IL/RL).
- Knowledge of electromechanical system design and thermal management.
- Experience with National Instruments hardware and LabView.
- Expertise in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.
- Experience in the design of slip rings.
- Mastery of multiphysics tools and signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).
- Expertise in reliability analysis, thermal design, or vacuum technologies.
- Ability to work in an organized manner, methodically analyzing complex problems.
- Flexibility and creativity in approaching changes and technical challenges.
- Commitment to providing performance-focused solutions while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to encourage and guide team members, communicating strategies clearly and inspiringly.
