Linux Expert / POS Infrastructure Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring – Linux POS Engineer / POS Operations Specialist

What You’ll Do :

• 💻 POS Operations & Support – Manage POS system releases, handle operational issues, and provide technical support for POS hardware & software (Cash Desk 2.0 and earlier).
• 🐧 Linux Engineering & Automation – Build and maintain Linux-based OS images, automate admin tasks via Bash / Shell scripting, and manage software packaging & deployment.
• 🚀 Deployment & Rollouts – Support new POS hardware setup, migrations, and store openings.
• 🤝 Collaboration & Projects – Work cross-functionally with teams and vendors, document in Jira & Confluence, and contribute to key POS-related projects.
• 💡 Continuous Improvement – Drive innovation and optimization within our POS ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For :

• ✅ IT degree or equivalent hands‑on experience
• ✅ Strong Linux system administration skills (Debian / Ubuntu or similar)
• ✅ Experience with Shell / Bash scripting & automation
• ✅ Familiarity with patch management, software distribution, and package tools (APT, YUM, RPM, etc.)
• ✅ POS hardware / software experience is a strong plus
• ✅ Solid problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• ✅ Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git preferred

Ideal Profile :

3–5+ years in Linux administration, ideally within retail or POS environments.
