As the world leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the many tasks of the Corporate Quality Assurance Division. You accompany us at the development of data analytics applications and take responsibility for different projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- In this position, you support our team in a vide range of topics regarding data analytics and business intelligence. Focus topics are:
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data analytics needs, provide effective solutions, and increase innovation within the quality organization.
- You contribute to the design and development of dashboards to visualize data insights.
- You maintain existing data analytics tools for internal customers, support training and troubleshooting and provide innovative solutions for data analytics and visualization.
- Furthermore, you have the chance to contribute to further project tasks, e.g., in the context of a global data warehouse implementation or in communication enhancement within our quality department.
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master student in Computer Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent field
- Excellent knowledge in data visualization and analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in ETL processes and tools
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- First knowledge in Project Management
- Self-motivated and target-oriented working style with high affinity to digitalization and automation
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
What we can offer you
- As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
- You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
- A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged) Hybrid working mode
- The duration of the internship is 6 months. The start of the internship is targeted for 15.10.2024
