pAs a versatile Facility and Safety Support Technician, you will play a key role in the management of the ATLAS facility during Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2030). As a member of a small team within ATLAS Technical Coordination, you will liaise with detector teams, contribute to equipment logistics, including waste management, and support occupational safety on site, helping to ensure a smooth detector installation process. /ph3Your responsibilities /h3ulliManage waste at the ATLAS facility by supporting equipment removal and waste sorting, and ensuring the timely availability of skip containers. /liliProvide equipment owners with packaging materials and support transport and logistics to and from CERN. /liliOrganize temporary storage for various consolidation projects in both surface and underground facilities. /liliMonitor ongoing site activities and promote safety awareness by carrying out safety tours, reporting observations, and implementing corrective actions. /liliEnsure the availability and inspection of safety equipment, and participate in its maintenance. /liliPerform shifts in the ATLAS control room. /liliCarry out scaffolding inspections in the experimental area. /liliProvide versatile technical support to the ATLAS Safety team and the ATLAS Infrastructure team. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
