You will play a key role in building meaningful relationships with CERN’s current and prospective donors throughout the entire donor cycle, while managing formal obligations such as proposal preparation and reporting. In doing so, you will help generate financial and strategic support for CERN by identifying funding opportunities, securing donations and grants, and building partnerships with corporations and foundations.
Your responsibilities
- Development and implementation of fundraising strategies for CERN fundraising projects.
- Identification, qualification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors, including planning and conducting of donor meetings, events, and experiences.
- Research and pursue of funding opportunities with foundations, including writing proposals and reports.
- Track, analyse, and report on fundraising performance and partnership impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising with project goals, prepare donor agreements and reports.
- Conceptualise and produce communications materials for fundraising purposes.
