Mer information You will carry out post-doctoral research activities in the field of applied physics and engineering within CERN’s Experimental Physics (EP) Department. You will contribute to the design, development, deployment and operation of physics experiments or experimental setups, with activities spanning detector technologies, material science, mechanical engineering, electronics and computing.
You will work on advanced experimental projects in a highly collaborative and international environment, contributing to large-scale research infrastructures and experimental programmes. You are applying to a fellowship programme rather than to a specific job; the information provided in your application will be used to identify suitable projects, which will be discussed and refined together with you if your profile is retained.
Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria
By the application deadline, you have a PhD (or will obtain it within six months), and no more than 3 years’ research experience after completion of your PhD degree. Candidates with experience up to 6 years may exceptionally be considered.
You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
You have a good knowledge of English or French.
