You’ll be part of a community where your curiosity and willingness to learn matter most. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liLearn from and assist experienced engineers, technicians and scientists in your field of study. /li liContribute to ongoing projects in areas such as software development, computing infrastructure or robotics. /li liTake part in day‑to‑day technical activities under close supervision. /li liCollaborate and exchange ideas within an international and multidisciplinary team. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liYou are currently studying in Computer Science, Mathematics, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field. /li liYou are required or encouraged by your university to complete a practical training period. /li liYou are eager to develop your skills through on‑the‑job learning. /li liYou enjoy teamwork and learning from others in a collaborative setting. /li liA good understanding of computing or software engineering fundamentals relevant to your studies. /li liCuriosity, precision and a proactive attitude towards learning. /li liGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team. /li /ul h3Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria /h3 ul liYou are a national of aCERN Member State or Associate Member State . Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals for positions with a 2026 start date, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached. /li liYou have completed at least 18 months of your studies (3 semesters) in the respective field at the time of the selection.
