About the role:

Are you passionate about building reliable, scalable systems that power fintech innovation? We’re on a mission to revolutionize B2B payments, and we need creative minds like yours! We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with SRE mindset who’s excited about building scalable systems and automating complex processes.

As a key member of our team, you will design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that handle millions of transactions. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies including AWS and Kubernetes while strategically modernizing our legacy systems. We encourage innovative thinking and provide the autonomy to propose and drive architectural improvements that shape our technical future.

• Create future-proof infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Turn repetitive tasks into elegant automated solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build, debug, and improve robust systems
• Improve deployment processes and system reliability
• Scale Billie’s infrastructure as we grow

Someone who solves problems creatively, embraces new technologies with enthusiasm, and communicates effectively with teams. Essentially, you should have a genuine passion for building reliable systems and finding smart ways to automate them.

Who we are looking for:

• You have 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• You love solving complex infrastructure challenges
• You are experienced in working with and modernizing legacy software
• You have experience with AWS, containers, and automation tools
• You’re passionate about DevOps practices and continuous improvement
• You enjoy mentoring others and sharing knowledge
• You have been able to work with Terraform and infrastructure automation
• Understanding of CI/CD and container technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools and observability
• Programming skills in Java, Python, or Golang
