For our Lab Site in Neuried near Munich , we are looking for a Scientist (m,f,d) – New Technologies in Antibody Generation .
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Evaluation, development and optimization of existing and new technologies in the field of recombinant antibodies with a special focus on selection, screening and antibody modification methods.
- Support establishing yeast surface display.
- Characterization of antibodies in various assays (direct and indirect ELISA, sandwich ELISA, Western Blot, etc.).
- Using bioanalytical methods (SDS PAGE, stability measurements, expression analysis, SEC, etc.).
- Continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
- Reading scientific literature and internal presentation of results.
- Training and instruction of new laboratory employees, if required.
What You Bring:
- Master or PhD in biochemistry, chemistry or biology or comparable.
- Very good knowledge of working with recombinant yeast cultures.
- Solid background in modern molecular biology and protein chemistry.
- Ability to efficiently organize laboratory work allowing nesting experiments.
- Good command of MS Office and scientific software (like sequence analysis software).
- True team player with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Very good communication skills in English and in German language.
