Overview As Global Medical Director, Medical Education, you shape how the medical community understands and adopts a transformative approach for Dravet Syndrome. You lead a global medical education program within Biogen’s Dravet Medical team, aligning scientific insight with clinical practice and patient care needs. You will translate complex science into impactful educational initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional groups to drive adoption and improve patient outcomes. A strong hook is your work at the intersection of science, strategy, and education to advance rare-dise Verantwortungsbereiche Lead the global medical education roadmap for Dravet Syndrome from strategy to execution Develop and deliver innovative education programs aligned with scientific and clinical needs across regions Define educational priorities along the treatment journey and support evolving standards of care Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align evidence generation, scientific communication, and medical education Shape scientific narratives and educational content to support evolving practice and innovation Plan and run global medical education symposia, congress activities, and scientific training programs Provide medical review and strategic guidance for publications and educational materials Engage with healthcare professionals and institutions to understand educational needs and trends Drive integration of digital solutions and modern educational approaches into Medical Education Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate educational impact, physician engagement, and changes in practice Zentrale Anforderungen MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent advanced scientific or clinical degree Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Clinical Development, or related functions Experience in Rare Disease, preferably Dravet Syndrome or other rare neurological conditions Evidence-based medical education strategy and program development experience Experience working in regional and/or global Medical Affairs environments Strong understanding of scientific communications, publications, and medical governance processes Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment Knowledge of global regulations and compliance relevant to Medical Affairs Experience leveraging digital solutions and innovative educational approaches in Medical Education Fluent English communication skills collaborative pragmatic influencer across stakeholders medical education strategy scientific communications and publications evidence-generation programs
