Intern – Functional Antibody Characterization (all genders)

At our antibody discovery unit, the Munich Antibody Platform in Neuried, we are looking for an intern to support us in the characterization of antibody lead candidates. You will be addressing exciting questions around immune evasion mechanisms of pathogens towards targeted therapies by setting up and performing functional assays with immune cell subsets.

Duration: 6 months

Methodes:

  1. Cell culture of human cell lines and primary cells
  2. Isolation of immune cell subsets from PBMCs
  3. Flow cytometry of human primary cells
  4. Establishment of functional assays to characterize lead antibody candidates

Pre-requisities:

  4. Curiosity and enthusiasm for new ideas and scientific exchange
  5. Proficiency in English and/or German language
  6. 6 months full-time availability for an internship
