BioTalent has teamed up with a leading Laboratory Equipment Manufacturer based in Greater Salzburg on their search for a Systems Engineer. As the technical lead, you will oversee the entire life cycle, from analysing existing systems and generating concepts, to implementing solutions. Your focus will be on ensuring that technical designs meet customer needs while adhering to the company’s development strategies.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the technical analysis of existing instruments and systems.
- Collaborate with user groups and product managers to define requirements for new developments.
- Develop and review system concepts, architecture documentation, and participate in design reviews.
- Lead and guide the selection and implementation of product concepts.
- Plan and lead configuration management and risk management activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex system issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and quality standards.
You will bring the following:
- University degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
- In depth experience in instrument development, in the medical device industry.
- Strong expertise in hardware and software development, system architecture, and programming.
- Fluency in both English .
