Our goal: a future-proof food system. /ppFor our medium-sized, well-positioned NGO, we are looking for a committed personality to strengthen our team as a /ph3PROGRAMME OFFICER INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS 80-100% /h3h3(Permanent contract, start date: 1 October or upon agreement) /h3pIn this junior position, you will contribute significantly to the measurable success of the International Partnerships team, with the potential to assume project management responsibilities after a few years. /ph3Your main tasks include: /h3ulliSupport (Senior) Programme Managers in the management, coordination, and further development of their project and programme portfolios in Sub-Saharan Africa (i.e. topic, country and value chain related analyses, overviews, conceptsand presentations) /liliContribute to the identification and development of market-based and value chain approaches that enable the scaling of agroecological practices, including engagement with private sector actors, certification schemes, and responsible sourcing initiatives /liliMonitor and integrate relevant (regulatory) private sector frameworks for responsible sourcing and related frameworks/schemes (i.e. HRDD, EUDR, CSDDD, SBTi, RA, SAI, etc.) into projects with a sustainable (export) value chain component /liliCoordinate the work related to our project database/management system, including quality assurance and data overviews for department- and beyond department-related decision making (i.e. budgets, outcomes, countries) /liliBuild overview of project/programme locations on a platform, including GIS /liliSupport the Monitoring, Evaluation Learning (MEL) Focal Point and contribute to the preparation of internal knowledge sharing across projects/programmes /liliFirst contact point for, and triage of, external inquiries (e.g. for donations, collaborations, etc.) /liliProvide support for any other tasks as required /li /ulh3We are looking for a dynamic and motivated team player with the following mandatory qualifications: /h3ulliMaster’s degree in sustainability management, business administration, international development, geography or similar /liliAt least 2 years of professional experience in the field of sustainable agricultural value chains, including related regulations/frameworks/schemes and corresponding data management /liliExperience in working with databases, project management systems, and geographic information platforms (i.e. GIS) /liliStrong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear summaries, concepts and presentations /liliComputer skills in standard Office applications, incl.
