For our customer in the aerospace industry we are looking for a suitable candidate for the location Manching, Germany starting as soon as possible for the following position:Hardware / Software Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) Ref. 10121840
Your responsibilities:Discuss with the Airworthiness / Certification Authorities the Certification Baseline and the level of
involvement of the authorities
Monitoring Supplier Development: Ensure that the supplier performs its activities in compliance with
RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178, applicable CRIs or guidelines, control of processes with
traceability, validation and verification, supervision of Requirements Based Engineering, Control
over SEU, (Single Event Upset) and Robustness of the equipment assigned, etc.
Preparation of Reviews with Airworthiness / Certification Authorities
Define the required documentation that Airbus shall receive at each milestone of the Hardware and
Software development according to RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178
Report that the compliance can be demonstrated as being consistent with the criticality/safety
requirements and the program development schedule
Your skills:Bachelor’s degree Engineering, or AerospaceWork experience over 2 years Configuration Management, Electrical engineering/electronics;Experience in SW- and/or HW-Development is needed
Experience in requirements engineering is a plusSelf-reliant and systematic way of working
Stress-resistance
Ability to work in an international teamIT Knowledge of standards like RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 is needed
Experience with Complex Electronic Hardware devices, e. g. microcoded components, such as
ASICs, PLDs, and complex COTS components is requiredBusiness fluent German and English
