For our client in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany for the following position with immediate effect and within the framework of temporary employment:
Your responsibilities:
The jobholder (d/f/m) works as a Retrofit Supply Chain Manager (In-Service) and is responsible among others for:
- Following the retrofit supply chain scenario and inventory strategy for kits as well as for the material availability.
- Managing the global aircraft delivery schedule with the aim to timely provide customers with reliable aircraft delivery dates.
- Establishing aircraft delivery programmes taking into account inputs from commercial, financial and industrial organisations but also customer requests.
- Alerting the commercial team each time an aircraft delivery date is endangered as a result of late technical issues.
- Bridging industrial and commercial constraints while keeping and (or) improving customer satisfaction.
- Managing customer requests in an environment of production ramp-up and lead-time reduction as well as monitor customer requests concerning aircraft deliveries.
- Act as a coordinator between Sales and Production.
- Represent customer Affairs department in Program and Manufacturing meetings.
- Prioritizing aircraft to be delivered (A/C), taking into account contractual obligations to program management.
Personal requirements:
- The ability to quickly recognize and analyze connections and functionality.
- Independent, structured, and result-oriented work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including regular business trips to France.
- Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels to work together.
Studies:
- Communication sciences – at least Bachelor’s degree
- Industrial engineering – at least Bachelor’s degree
- Business administration – at least Bachelor’s degree
Professional experience:
- Purchase for at least 2 years.
- Process improvement for at least over 3 years.
- Contract management for at least 3 years.
IT:
- Google Workspace knowledge.
- Project management – at least good knowledge.
- Process management – at least good knowledge.
- Risk management – at least good knowledge in the area of customer and supplier management.
Language Skills:
- German – at least business fluent.
- At least business fluent in English.
