About this role
Shape the future of one of the world's leading aviation brands. For Lufthansa Technik AG-one of the world's leading providers of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in the aviation industry-we are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement & Ideas Management Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg as soon as possible.
This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing (contract) basis for the period from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2027.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering innovation and continuous improvement within Lufthansa Technik. You will guide ideas from their initial submission through to successful implementation, collaborating with various specialist departments, management, and project teams across the entire organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Operational management and further development of the internal idea management system, "my ideas"
- Receiving, reviewing, and evaluating submitted suggestions for improvement
- Coordinating the processing of suggestions in collaboration with relevant departments and decision-makers
- Supporting the implementation and tracking of improvement initiatives
- Assisting in the identification of optimization potential within the organization
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of ideas
- Preparing analyses, presentations, and status reports
- Supporting improvement and change projects
- Fostering a sustainable culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Your Profile
- Completed technical vocational training
- Additional qualification as a technician or master craftsman (Techniker/Meister)
- Interest in continuous improvement and idea management
- Initial experience in project work or project management is an advantage
- Strong analytical and structured approach to work
- Strong organizational skills and personal initiative
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
- Very good command of German and a good command of English (written and spoken, at least B2 level)
- High degree of flexibility, resilience, and a hands-on mentality
