For Lufthansa Technik AG—a global leader in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the aviation industry,we are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg as soon as possible.
This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing (contract) basis for the period from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.
In this key role, you will take responsibility for logistical and technical sub-projects within the context of modern aviation systems. You will oversee complex customer programs, coordinate technical requirements, and ensure that systems can be operated, maintained, and supported in a cost-effective manner.

Your Responsibilities
- Leading and managing sub-projects focused on achieving "operational readiness" (HDV – *Herstellung der Versorgungsreife*)
- Ensuring project objectives are met regarding schedule, quality, risk, and performance
- Supporting the long-term management of national and international client organizations
- Developing and creating technical design specifications in collaboration with engineering teams
- Preparing and conducting project and status reviews
- Independently organizing and facilitating client meetings
- Creating status reports, management presentations, and decision-making documents
- Performing logistical analyses (LSA, LORA, LCCA)
- Developing concepts for operations, maintenance, training, and lifecycle support
- Supporting strategic and high-priority special projects
Your Profile
- Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a project manager or sub-project manager
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Integrated Product Support (IPS), or service engineering
- Knowledge of aviation certification and regulatory requirements is an advantage
- Experience in the civil or military aviation sector is desirable
- Very good proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- High level of personal initiative and sense of responsibility
- Professional proficiency in both German and English (at least C1 level)
- Willingness to work in an international environment
