Overview

bitop AG, a dynamic, ISO-13485 certified mid-sized biotech company based in Dortmund-Hörde, specializes in developing and marketing innovative active ingredients, notably Ectoin, a natural extremolyte gaining worldwide recognition in the cosmetics industry. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager – Cosmetic Active Ingredients (m/w/d) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and marketing activities with global distribution partners in the cosmetics and personal care industry, including key accounts.
• Train sales teams of distribution partners on product features, sales arguments, and application methods.
• Support marketing with content creation such as product brochures, presentations, and scientific articles; represent the company at industry events.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitors to develop growth strategies for our active ingredients.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, seminars, and conferences, establishing and maintaining business relationships.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer projects and product strategies.

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, biology, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cosmetics or personal care, preferably with active ingredients or fine chemicals.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~45%).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
