This Position reports to: Operations Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

  • Leading, developing, and managing an international DACH Project Management Office (PMO) team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
  • Standardizing and optimizing project management processes, governance frameworks, operational solutions, and the overall project organization across the region
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the Operations Strategy while driving strategic transformation initiatives across the organization
  • Providing operational leadership for the project portfolio, ensuring effective governance, resource management, and successful project delivery
  • Managing project escalations and coordinating local and global stakeholders and interfaces to enable effective decision-making, risk mitigation, and business outcomes

Qualifications for the role:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • PMP certification is considered a strong advantage
  • More than 8 years of experience managing and delivering complex system projects in the plant engineering industry
  • Several years of leadership experience in Project Management, PMO, Project Operations, or a comparable management function
  • Proven experience in leading international and cross-functional teams in a complex business environment
  • Strong expertise in project governance, process optimization, stakeholder management, and organizational transformation
