For our client, a leading global universal bank with its European headquarters in Frankfurt, we are currently looking for an ESG-Risk Manager (gn).
Tasks:
- Assist in the design and maintenance of the ESG-Risk frameworks to support regulatory and market expectations
- Contribute to the enhancement of current processes to improve ESG Risk management performance
- Assist in the identification and communication of climate and ESG issues and their implications
- Contribute to the preparation and participate in internal and where relevant external governance meetings
- Contribute to the enhancement of the Environmental & Social Risk Review of Clients and Transactions
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues across EMEA to ensure coordinated development of risk programs
Requirements:
- Quantitative profile with a balanced set of basic skills and experience from across risk management and climate change/sustainability
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international financial institution
- Good level of knowledge of regulatory reforms impacting climate change and ESG and/or financial institutions
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English, German is an advantage
