YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
THE WHAT
You own the precise and reliable production of high-precision components for spaceflight. You operate CNC milling machines, ensure consistent part quality, and keep production processes stable and on takt. You make sure every component meets its specifications before moving to the next production step.
THE WHY
To end COPV failure in spaceflight.
In aerospace manufacturing, microns can define mission success. Every component must meet exact specifications, every process must be controlled, and every deviation must be addressed before it becomes a problem. Your work turns engineering requirements into reliable, high-quality components that meet the demands of spaceflight.
YOUR IMPACT
You don't just operate machines. You turn precision into production-ready reality.
You ensure:
- Every component meets its specified tolerances
- Quality is verified before parts move to the next production step
- Production runs reliably, efficiently, and consistently
Your tasks in detail and by priority
You maintain stable machine operation and consistent output while meeting quality and takt time requirements.
High Performance: Deliver precision under pressure. Every part counts.
Accountability: Own every part. No compromises on quality.
Communication: You communicate relevant production information, quality status, and open issues clearly to colleagues and across shifts.
Togetherness: Keep production connected. Work as one team.
Candor: Speak up early. Make problems visible.
Practical Ideas: You contribute practical ideas to improve machining processes, quality and production efficiency.
Playfulness: Challenge the status quo. Improve the system.
