What: As the Team Lead Quality Assurance at Blackwave, you are the architect of excellence and reliability.
You will build, structure, and lead the QA department, ensuring our high-performance composite components meet the rigorous standards required for aerospace missions.
From designing quality protocols to the final qualification of flight hardware, you ensure our technology is safe for the stars.

Software Quality Assurance positions.

Empower: Take full ownership of the Quality Assurance team.
You willbe responsible forstructuring the department, hiring specialists, and fostering a culture of precision and excellence from the ground up.
- Define Quality Standards: Develop, implement, andoptimize QA processes and testing strategies fortheprototypeandserial productionas wellassupplier quality.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee thequalification anddocumentation processes to ensure all products meet aerospace-specific regulatory and customer requirements.
- Root Cause Excellence: Lead cross-functional troubleshooting and non-conformance management to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing cycles.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design teams to industrialize QA methods, ensuring scalability as we ramp up production.
YOUR PROFILE
- Educational Background: Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- QA Expertise: 2+ years of deep knowledge of quality management systems (e. g., AS9100 or ISO 9001) and experience with composite material testing.
- Analytical Mindset: A practical, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges and a "first-time-right" mentality.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse departments and with external stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Excellent English (at least C1); German skills are highly appreciated.
