BLACKYAK Europe – Where Innovation Meets Craftsmanship
Since 2016, BLACKYAK has been making waves in Europe, and since 2019, we have been developing high-performance outdoor products in our state-of-the-art Product Lab in Munich. On 250 square meters, our experts – developers, designers, pattern makers, and athletes – work hand in hand to bring prototypes from concept to completion. With cutting-edge technology like CAD software, bonding and seam-sealing machines, and ultrasonic welding machines, we create products trusted by mountaineers and adventurers around the globe.
Your Tasks:
- Create and optimize patterns for functional outdoor apparel
- Develop and produce physical prototypes using modern machinery
- Collaborate closely with the product development team in Munich and international design and development teams in Korea
- Develop and refine fit and create workmanship guidelines
- Support our QC and production teams to ensure the highest quality standards
- Introduce and apply innovative pattern-making techniques
Your Profile:
- Completed training as a pattern maker and master tailor, ideally with experience in the outdoor or sports industry
- Experience with CAD software (Gerber is a plus)
- Passion for technical innovation and a willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
- Independent, structured work style with a high level of initiative and reliability
- Strong team player with assertiveness
