The Role This is a combined Talent Acquisition and Hiring Operations role with end-to-end responsibility across recruiting execution, process design, and hiring infrastructure.
You will not only source and hire candidates, but also design and run the systems behind hiring: pipelines, tooling, coordination workflows, employer branding, and operational scalability.
You are building the recruiting machine while operating it.
Key Responsibilities Hiring Execution
Define clear role requirements in close alignment with hiring managers
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through active sourcing and multi-channel outreach
Conduct structured screening calls and evaluate candidates for skill and culture fit
Coordinate the full hiring process from first contact to signed offer
Negotiate contracts and manage closing processes end-to-end
Hiring Systems & Operations
Build and optimize lean, scalable recruiting processes (no overengineering)
Own and improve the full hiring workflow infrastructure (ATS, tools, templates, tracking)
Coordinate external partners (payroll providers, notaries, tax advisors, etc.)
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain structured hiring data and improve decision-making through metrics
Employer Branding & Growth
Contribute to employer branding strategy and execution
Help shape how fonio is positioned to top candidates
Continuously improve candidate experience and hiring conversion rates
What You Bring
Proven experience across recruiting (agency, in-house, or startup environments)
Ability to run end-to-end hiring processes independently
Strong sourcing skills and experience building candidate pipelines
Structured, data-driven approach to recruiting and decision-making
Experience with recruiting tools (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, etc.)
Strong communication skills and ability to pitch roles convincingly to candidates
High ownership mindset with ability to operate without detailed instructions
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-performance environments
Fluent German and strong English skills
