Our client, a well-established specialist backed by a major European leader in Field Service Management (FSM) software, builds dedicated Cloud/SaaS solutions tailored specifically for the Utility and Energy sector.
They combine the agility and warm culture of a focused, local tech house with the rock-solid security of a premier European software group. The goal? Digitizing, streamlining, and connecting field service operations so utility providers can manage complex operations effortlessly.
And your role in this?
As a Technical Professional Services Consultant, you are the bridge between complex tech and real-world implementation. You will take true ownership of integration projects, shaping how customer data and interfaces connect seamlessly with our client's platform, and turning business needs into sleek technical concepts.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead technical scoping conversations with new and existing clients to dig into their integration and interface needs.
- Design, build, test, and maintain custom interfaces and data import/export setups.
- Act as the lead technical guide during customer onboarding and project rollouts.
- Take full ownership of interface projects from initial requirements gathering straight through to go-live.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing configurations and interfaces.
- Write clean, accessible technical documentation and interface specifications.
Ok, what should you bring?
The Core Ingredients (Must-Haves):
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a hands-on technical role within the software world.
- Comfort with a scripting language (like Lua, VBScript, PowerShell, or Python) or a background in standard programming languages.
- Good hands-on knowledge of data formats (CSV, JSON, XML) and transfer protocols (REST, Web Services).
- Strong practical skills with standard office tools, especially advanced Excel and Word.
- Proven experience in technical consulting or client-facing roles (such as Professional Services or Presales).
- A knack for explaining complex technical topics to non-technical folks in a relaxed, confident way.
- An independent, organized way of working coupled with a genuine team player mindset.
The Extra Spice (Nice-to-Haves):
- Any experience tinkering with Go.
- Background in ERP or Field Service Management software.
- Practical knowledge of data migration projects or major industry standards like SAP.
