Role Overview

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who enjoys speaking with people, identifying new business opportunities, and opening doors for our Sales Managers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential B2B customers across Europe
  • Proactively contact prospective customers via telephone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Introduce BM Ingredients Europe and generate interest in our products and services
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs
  • Arrange appointments and online meetings for our Sales Managers
  • Maintain accurate customer information in our CRM system
  • Follow up on previous contacts, marketing campaigns, and enquiries
  • Build long‑term relationships with prospective customers
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to support business growth and achieve company objectives

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, telesales, business development, or a similar role
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional telephone manner with a confident and friendly personality
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven
  • Comfortable speaking with purchasing managers, quality managers, R&D teams, and other decision‑makers

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the food ingredients, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries
  • Additional European languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, or Polish

Success in this role is measured by the quality of customer interactions and the opportunities generated. Typical monthly targets include:

  • 300–500 outbound calls
  • 40–60 qualified sales leads
  • 20–30 appointments booked for the Sales Team
  • High‑quality CRM management
  • Close collaboration with the Sales Managers to convert opportunities into new business
