Overview
As a User Experience Designer at Board, you shape enterprise software experiences by translating goals into clear, usable interfaces. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to craft data-rich, user-centered designs within the Board platform and its design system. You’ll iterate rapidly with wireframes and prototypes, contribute to design standards, and advocate usability throughout product evolution. This role offers impact through influencing product direction and driving innovative UX in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand goals and design requirements
- Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into design solutions
- Rapidly create and iterate designs using diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes with detailed specifications
- Apply designs within the Board platform leveraging its built-in design capabilities
- Leverage and expand the pattern library with the UI infrastructure team
- Communicate design rationale and processes effectively
- Contribute to evolving design standards and guidelines
- Apply usability heuristics and suggest improvements for features and experiences
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Proven UX design experience with a strong portfolio
- Experience with enterprise software is a plus
- Knowledge of user-centered and iterative design processes, usability principles
- Proficiency in Figma; experience with other design tools is welcome
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, Cursor)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience or domain knowledge in enterprise planning processes is a plus
