The Role

As a Maintenance Handyman , you will ensure that daily maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. You will handle various maintenance duties across our Munich properties and ideally reside nearby.

You will be responsible for:

1. Maintenance and Repairs
2. Performing routine and preventive maintenance to keep properties in excellent condition.
3. Handling minor carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs.
4. Responding promptly to guest requests and complaints.
5. Overseeing contractors for major repairs, renovations, or installations.
6. Managing maintenance supplies inventory and ensuring tools are safe and functional.

1. Safety and Compliance
2. Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
3. Keeping accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
4. Assisting in testing emergency systems and proposing energy-saving improvements.

1. Teamwork and Communication
2. Collaborating with operations and housekeeping teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
3. Supporting operational projects and training team members on technical issues.
4. Coordinating with the General Manager on budgets and timelines for major maintenance projects.

Our 5-star candidate has:

• Vocational training in a skilled trade.
• Proven experience in routine and preventive maintenance.
• Basic carpentry, painting, and furniture repair skills.
• Understanding of domestic appliances and maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including fire safety, and experience with inspections.
• Ability to maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Responsiveness in reactive maintenance situations.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
• Basic German and English communication skills.
• Nice to have: a valid driving license.
