This is a high-impact leadership role at the crossroads of technology, innovation and business transformation. You will lead a multidisciplinary organization of more than 40 engineers and specialists and play a key role in defining the future of BOBST's digital solutions.Your MissionAs a member of the Io T Leadership Team, you will drive the technology strategy, architecture and delivery of the BOBST Connect platform while partnering closely with the Iot Product Director to bring innovative solutions to market. You will lead teams based in Switzerland and Morocco and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Key responsibilitiesLead and inspireLead, develop and grow multidisciplinary Io T, Data Science and Operations teams (+40 people).Foster a culture of agility, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.Coach leaders and technical experts, ensuring the organization is equipped to deliver on its ambitions.Drive technology excellenceOwn the technology roadmap and execution of the BOBST Connect platform together with the Iot Product Director.Define architecture, technology stack, cybersecurity and cloud strategies that ensure scalability, reliability and performance.Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, Dev Sec Ops, CI/CD and AI-enabled development approaches.Create business impactPartner with Product Lines, Business Units and commercial teams to maximize customer value.Translate business needs into innovative digital solutions and services.Present strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.What You BringExperienceMaster's degree or Ph D in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.More than 10 years of experience in software and digital product environments.At least 5 years leading large, distributed software development organizations, including nearshore or offshore teams.Technical expertiseYou bring a strong background in several of the following areas:Saa S platforms and software developmentCloud-native architectures (Azure preferred)Io T and edge connectivityCybersecurityData platforms and data scienceAgile delivery frameworksDev Sec Ops, CI/CD and software engineering best practicesLeadership & mindsetInspiring leader with a proven ability to build high-performing teams.Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.Strategic thinker capable of influencing senior stakeholders.Passion for innovation, technology and creating measurable value.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, global environment.LanguagesFluent English is mandatory and French is a strong asset.Join us – and grow with us.BOBST is an engineering company, pioneering intelligent solutions that shape the future of the packaging world.
