ppJoin Our Web-Fed Solutions Team /p pWithin the Services Performance Business Unit, we offer you the opportunity to join our Web-Fed Solutions External Field Service Pool as a Field Service Commissioning Engineer – Automation Motion Control. /p pThis is a full-time permanent position (100%) based at our Mex (VD) site, which serves as our corporate headquarters and production center. /p pThis role is intended for a professional who is passionate about complex industrial environments and capable of working autonomously on highly sophisticated automated production lines. You will be required to travel internationally for 50% to 60% of your working time, often on assignments lasting several consecutive weeks. /p h3YOUR MISSION /h3 ul liCommission automated production lines in Switzerland and internationally. /li liPerform retrofit, modernization, and upgrade projects on existing installations. /li liIndependently plan and organize on-site commissioning activities. /li liDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to automation, motion control, electrical systems, and industrial IT. /li liProgram, modify, and optimize automation systems using Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens S7. /li liCommission and configure drive systems and synchronized motion axes. /li liPerform troubleshooting interventions both on customer sites and remotely. /li liCoordinate technical activities with customer teams. /li liValidate equipment performance and contribute to final acceptance testing. /li liTrain customer maintenance and production teams. /li liProvide structured reporting to Project Managers and Technical Support teams. /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of our products through field feedback and lessons learned. /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liHES Engineering degree, ES Technician diploma, or equivalent qualification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. /li liStrong expertise in Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens S7 environments. /li liGood knowledge of drive systems, variable frequency drives, and synchronized motion control. /li liProven experience in reading electrical schematics, industrial troubleshooting, and commissioning electrical control cabinets. /li liProficiency with Windows environments and virtualization solutions. /li liGood command of English (minimum B2 level) for technical exchanges and customer training. /li liStrong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills. /li liAutonomous, organized, and results-oriented. /li liAbility to work on customer sites for several consecutive weeks in an international environment. /li liAbility to effectively engage internal support teams whenever required. /li liValid Category B driving license. /li /ul h3TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT /h3 ul liSiemens PLCs (TIA Portal, S7) /li liMotion Control Solutions: Bosch Rexroth, Siemens /li liDrives and Inverters: Siemens Sinamics, Baumüller, Nidec, Schneider Electric, and other suppliers /li liSiemens Industrial PCs /li liAutomated production lines typically integrating 30 to 100 synchronized axes /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liThe opportunity to join an experienced and highly respected team. /li liComprehensive training on our products and technologies. /li liExciting international projects. /li liA highly diverse technical environment combining commissioning, retrofits, troubleshooting, and technical support.A high level of autonomy and meaningful responsibilities. /li liProfessional growth and career development opportunities. /li liThe chance to work with customers and cultures from around the world. /li /ul h3Join us – and grow with us. /h3 pBOBST is an engineering company, pioneering intelligent solutions that shape the future of the packaging world.
