The Volontariat (Trainee Communications) at HP Comms enables participants to gain professional development and insight into working practices at Boehringer Ingelheim’s headquarters. The position is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of different communication areas within the organization. Regular professional feedback will be provided to ensure continuous growth and development.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Support the team in executing global communication plans for various products and initiatives.
2. Support the team in creating effective communication strategies and content for various internal and external platforms, including social media.
3. Work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute projects.
4. Collaborate on various topics within the HP Comms team to learn and develop.
5. Rotate within the wider Corporate Affairs team to learn about other areas of communication and broaden understanding of the organization.
6. Participate in project collaborations outside of the immediate team to gain a diverse range of experiences.
7. Engage in regular exchanges with other trainees to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
8. Attend 1-2 external seminars or training sessions for professional development and further qualification.

Your Profile:

Minimum Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or other relevant field.

Required Capabilities / Skills:

1. Knowledge of team-oriented ways of working as well as a high willingness to learn.
2. Hands-on experience with project management techniques, agile ways of working, and innovations in MS Office tools.
3. Prior proven experience in communications through internships or part-time jobs is preferable.
4. Proficient command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Experience in digital/social media campaigns.
6. Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.

What we can offer you:

1. You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship.
2. A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged).
3. During your Volontariat (Trainee Communications), you will receive a wage of 2,800€ per month.
4. We offer a hybrid working model in which you can work remotely several days a week plus a flexible work schedule to allow work-life balance.
5. The duration of the Volontariat (Trainee Communications) is 18 months.
