Senior Manager Controlling - GBS

The Position

As a Senior Manager in Controlling, you will play a key role in delivering financial solutions and simplifying complex data. You will be a driving force in managing costs and offering financial insights, all while encouraging continuous improvements in a dynamic work setting. You deliver to win.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Ensure high-quality Finance deliverables in Planning and Reporting by translating complex financial cases into understandable insights and actions.
2. Support the Leadership Team in the development of functional financial targets for the Global Business Services (GBS) organization, ensuring clear communication and stringent implementation.
3. Plan and control costs, closely monitoring cost development, providing clear analytics to Business Partners, and developing financial actions to ensure adherence to targets.
4. Drive innovation and strive for standardization in planning and reporting of the GBS Function.
5. Provide conceptual leadership in the GBS controlling area and drive the development and implementation of concepts and governance frameworks.
6. Ensure financial compliance in business partner activities, support internal and external audits, and prepare documentation of processes.

Requirements

1. Diploma Degree or master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) with major focus on Business Administration and/or Economics.
2. At least multiple years of solid experience in key controlling positions.
3. Proven performance approach and hands-on attitude combined with a critical and challenging mindset to be effective and efficient in the interaction with business partners in an international environment.
4. Entrepreneurial spirit with proactive and team-oriented approach, working with senior leadership in an international setting, showing resilience under challenging circumstances.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to act as a Finance Business Partner and explain finance topics to non-finance colleagues.
6. Demonstrated project leadership skills, coupled with concise reporting abilities including briefings and statements.
7. Proficient in Business Case creation and usage of analytic software, with strong analytical thinking.
8. High proficiency in English (read, write and speak) is mandatory.
9. 50% office presence and mobility for business travel.
