Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

  • Why join Bolt
  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.

About The Role

Rides is Bolt’s largest vertical, operating in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.

The Rides Operations Analytics function is the analytical engine behind how we run it.

It covers supply, consumer experience, risk and compliance, safety, operational excellence and customer support programmes.

It partners directly with regional management, domain heads and executive leadership.

As Head of Analytics, Rides Operations, you will own global operations analytics for the vertical and lead a team of 12+ analysts and managers, plus a dotted line to 2.5+ Analytics Engineers.

You will identify growth and profitability opportunities, manage the efficiency of operations and financial investments, and act as the strategic partner for regional and executive leadership.

The function is at a turning point.

It is moving from descriptive reporting to impact assessment, experimentation, and a predictive, AI-native, science-rich approach that takes us from hypothesis to measurable impact.

You will set the vision for that shift and lead it.

Our data foundations are well underway but not finished, so accelerating the engineering foundations is a core priority alongside the roadmap.

Over your first 3–6 months, you will set the vision and ways of working for the predictive, AI-native stack, accelerate the data foundations, and build relationships across the business.

You will also assess the team and give it the care and direction it needs.

This role has a clear growth path.

Based on delivery and performance, it can grow into Director of Analytics within about three years, with opportunities beyond that across other verticals and functions.

  • Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Own global operations analytics for Rides, providing recommendations that guide operational decisions and maximise the efficiency of our financial investments.
  • Lead a diverse scope of topics: Supply, Strategic Supply, Consumer (including B2B and B2G), Risk & Compliance, Safety, Operational Excellence and automation, the AI charter, Customer Support programmes, management mechanisms, and reporting.
  • Transform the function from a descriptive model to impact assessment, experimentation and a predictive, AI-native full stack, and establish it as a thought-leadership partner to domain and business teams.
  • Build the long-term operations analytics roadmap with Local Operations, Domain Heads and Product, and deploy self-serve analytics playbooks across all markets, localising them where needed.
  • Establish a clear view of the most impactful marketplace actions and input-output metrics at local and global level.

Share insights with stakeholders, prioritise opportunities and measure impact with a customer-first approach.

  • Lead, grow and retain a high-performing team: set the culture, define performance objectives, run performance management, and make organisational decisions.
  • Standardise analytics processes across Rides, including marketplace reporting, input-output metrics and local decision requirements.

Identify the biggest opportunities in processes and tooling, and work with Engineering to get them prioritised.

  • Manage stakeholders and expectations across HQ, local teams, engineering and business, and prioritise impact at the scale of 50+ countries.

About You

  • You have 12+ years of experience in operations, marketing, growth, incentives and/or customer analytics in a fast-paced tech environment, and 5+ years building and managing a high-performing analytics team.
  • You hold a BSc in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or a related business or quantitative field.
  • You have experience in consulting, pricing and incentives strategy, growth and/or marketplaces, which is highly desirable.
  • You have a solid grasp of statistics and proven experience with operational deep-dives and dashboarding. Experience with experimentation and causal methods is a plus.
  • You are proficient in SQL, Excel and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker. Python or R is a plus.
  • You have experience designing and deploying an AI-led analytics stack, including conversational analytics.
  • You are an excellent communicator and stakeholder manager, comfortable aligning senior leaders at HQ and local level.
  • You can set direction in a complex, fast-moving environment, and you lead teams with clarity, care and high standards.
  • Why you'll love it here
  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.

At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone.

If there's a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it.

You're still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.

So even if you don't tick every box, please consider applying!
