Experienced Designer (m/f/d) in Gunskirchen

Overview

As Experienced Designer, you contribute to designing and validating components and system modules for complex drives. You drive on-time delivery, support engineering change processes, and uphold quality and standards. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and design integrity. This role offers hands-on impact on product development within an international, innovation-driven environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Design components and system modules to meet functional, manufacturing, and cost constraints
• Deliver work packages on time and support project milestones and ECR processes
• Create and manage design artifacts (BOMs, documentation) and coordinate with external designers when needed
• Review drawings and designs for accuracy, compliance, and quality, ensuring adherence to Rotax guidelines
• Escalate only for non-standard or complex issues; maintain collaboration with internal stakeholders and external resources

Zentrale Anforderungen

• HTL Matura or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–7 years of mechanical design experience in complex systems
• Proficient in CAD tools (Creo, Windchill) and BOM management in SAP
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost constraints
• Ability to work independently and guide external designers when required
• Strong collaboration, quality focus, and on-time delivery mindset
• Fluent in German and English
