Overview
In this role you support BRP-Rotax’s Export Control and Trade Compliance Program, focusing primarily on China-related operations with additional coverage for EMEA, especially Finland. You will perform export control reviews, sanctions screenings, and due diligence, and assist with license applications. You’ll maintain compliance records, liaise with internal stakeholders and authorities, and monitor regulatory developments. This position offers growth in international trade compliance within a global, regulated industry and a chance to contribute to responsible, compliant international operations.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support the Export Control and Trade Compliance Program
- Conduct export control reviews, sanctions screenings and due diligence assessments
- Assist with export license applications and regulatory compliance requirements
- Coordinate compliance activities for China business operations
- Support export control processes across EMEA, with focus on Finland
- Maintain compliance documentation and records
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and authorities in Austria and Finland
- Monitor regulatory developments and support compliance training initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor degree in Business, Law, International Trade, Engineering or related fields (advantageous)
- Completion of advanced training in export controls (e.g., German Foreign Trade Academy)
- 0–3 years of experience in compliance, trade compliance, export control, or related area
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality
- Fluency in German and English
- Finnish proficiency would be a strong advantage
