How You’ll Make An Impact
Join the API Control Plane team as a DevOps Engineer and help shape the future of API Management. In this role, you will work closely with product management, other engineering teams, customer success, and support to develop cutting-edge features and enhancements across Boomi’s API Management offerings. You will focus on building solutions that streamline API governance, improve security, and provide a consistent user experience while managing APIs across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. A willingness to learn and assist in quality automation tasks and testing when needed will be essential to maintaining our platform’s high standards. Your contributions will ensure that our platform unlocks the full potential of the customer’s APIs for their business goals and needs.
This is a hybrid position located in Darmstadt, Hesse*
What You’ll Do
- Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
- Plan, implement, and maintain the software development infrastructure.
- Develop, manage and monitor continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers and quality engineers, to ensure timely and successful delivery of new software releases.
- Contribute to software design and development, including code review and feedback
- Provide a strong focus on automation
The Experience You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Ability to code and script in multiple programming languages and automation frameworks
- Experience developing CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins/Harness or other CI/CD tools
- Understanding of the best security practices and automation security testing and updating in the CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in deploying monitoring and logging infrastructure and developing dashboards using tools like New Relic
- Proficiency in container frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes and experience in AWS EKS Fargate
- Experience in automating, scaling and operating cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools in a Cloud computing environment
- Hands-on programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go and C
Bonus Points If You Have
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as ReadyAPI/Selenium or willingness to learn and assist in quality automation tasks as needed
- Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
- Familiarity using AWS technologies such as Cloudformation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2
- Familiarity with networking and cyber security in cloud computing
