Our Business Unit
Boost Collectibles Promotions develops attractive best-of-class collectibles promotions for leading retailers and brands. We design, produce, distribute and promote “must have” items that appeal to young and old alike. A collectibles promotion is created in strategic partnership with our customers. Based upon their marketing strategy and briefing, our involvement begins at the drawing board, ends on the shop-floor, and seeks to turn kids and families into brand savvy shoppers.
Our customers benefit as we help attract new shoppers and increase levels of spending and visits immediately.
We offer a wide range of short-term collectibles promotions and instant reward programs aimed at different groups of shoppers: Kids, adults, and families and are searching for you to add the best brands and licenses to our solutions.
Your responsibilities with us
Internal Licenses and Brands:
- Overview and Management : Create and maintain a comprehensive overview of all internal “Boost” licenses and brands.
- Trademark Protection and Registration : Responsible for trademark registration and protection in collaboration with legal counsel.
- Internal Alignment : Work closely with key stakeholders and the Concept & Design Team to strengthen and develop the in-house brand portfolio.
External Licenses and Brands:
- Market and Portfolio Expansion : Identify and manage potentially interesting external licenses and brands to expand the “Boost” brand portfolio.
- Brand Presentation and Partner Acquisition : Represent “Boost” to license and brand partners to attract and secure new partners.
- Primary Contact for Partners : Act as the main point of contact for license and brand partners, as well as influencers or notable personalities who can add value to the “Boost” offerings and portfolio. Serve as the main point of contact, addressing queries and providing strategic input on complex client pitches.
- Negotiations : Independently negotiate terms with license and brand partners to secure advantageous agreements.
- Coordination with CCO and Sales Team : Work closely with the team to identify and secure the best license and brand partners for long-term partnerships with “Boost.”
- Attendance at Trade Shows and Conferences : Actively participate in trade shows and conferences to identify new potential license and brand partners, observe market trends, and establish valuable networks.
- Design Approvals Management : Oversee and manage design approval processes to ensure consistency with both client expectations and licensor guidelines.
- Mediation Between Client Needs and Licensor Standards : Act as a mediator, balancing and aligning client wishes with licensor requirements, to maintain brand integrity while meeting client expectations.
- Collaborative Engagement : Prepare and present materials for collaboration meetings and contribute to client presentations when required.
What you bring with you
- Experienced Brand Licensing Manager : You are familiar with retail marketing campaigns, and experience with kids collectibles and loyalty marketing is a plus.
- Educational Background : You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; a graduate degree is a bonus.
- Licensing Knowledge : You bring hands-on experience working with or at major licensors or brands in industries like toys, entertainment, gaming, or media.
- Target Audience Expertise : You have experience with licenses or brands that cater specifically to children and family audiences, understanding the unique considerations and trends within this demographic.
- Strategic Insight : You have the ability to anticipate market trends and guide project direction to align with our business objectives.
- Account Leadership : You excel in managing major licensor and brand accounts (toys, entertainment, gaming, media), with a track record of planning, pitching, and executing solutions.
- Design Approval and Mediation Skills : You’re skilled at managing design approvals and balancing client needs with licensor guidelines, ensuring compliance while keeping clients satisfied.
- Analytical Skills : You’re able to analyze market data, licensing trends, and competitor actions, using insights to make informed decisions that support strategic goals.
- Negotiation Skills : You have a proven ability to negotiate favorable terms with licensors and partners, securing beneficial agreements for the company.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills : You’re an excellent communicator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
