Key Role:
Support the development and execution of a comprehensive operational assessment program. Improve the responsiveness of staff support by serving as a feedback mechanism for your client on the progression of stated campaign plan objectives. Provide high level analysis on tactical actions that support operational and strategic objectives. Assess operations, activities, and investments and provide analysis that will improve planning for the achievement of service headquarters priorities and theater objectives. Provide responsive research, analysis, recommendations, and staff products that are fully integrated with service headquarters direction, component-level campaign plans, campaign support plans, and Combatant Command guidance and direction. Provide continuity, improved synchronization, and process improvement for assessments reporting to adjacent and higher units.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with the Department of Defense as a service member, government civilian, or contractor
- 3+ years of experience with a military planning process such as MCPP, MDMP or JPP
- Knowledge of exercise and operational assessments at a General Officer-led military headquarters, including assessments of Joint exercises, security cooperation events, service exercises, and internal headquarters level assessments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the European or African theaters
- Experience with the United States Marine Corps and Marine Corps specific systems
- Experience with assessments at the tactical and operational levels of warfare
- Experience with preparing and presenting briefings to senior leaders
- Experience with joint planning, combined operations, and expeditionary warfare
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
