The Opportunity:

As a Security Cooperation Analyst, you’ll bring your leadership, consulting, strategic, tactical, and technical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in consulting, strategic planning, and analytics on projects for the U.S. Air Force and International Affairs. You’ll use your skills and expertise as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support Security Cooperation equities for a component command and aligned Geographic Combatant Commands.

Work with us to help provide security cooperation policy, process, authorities, and planning subject matter expertise to a DoD client. You’ll gather data and conduct gap assessments to provide recommendations for security cooperation operations, activities, and investments that gain access and build requisite allied and partner nation security force capabilities and capacity in partnership with U.S. interagency and international contributors. You’ll support the development of pseudo-foreign military sales (FMS) requirements definition and documentation, including partner nation assessments and training, equipment, and services lists. You’ll also support the tracking and maintenance of pseudo-FMS program lifecycle assessment, training, equipment, and services data to inform development of future pseudo-FMS programs and support the U.S. Air Force client’s agility in responding to and reporting programmatic changes.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience working with U.S. government entities
• 3+ years of experience working with the DoD security cooperation or security assistance programs
• Experience with security cooperation planning and execution processes mandated by NDAA 17 – NDAA 24, including Significant Security Cooperation Initiative (SSCI) centric planning and proposal development
• Experience researching and analyzing DoD and federal policies and directives, and developing and presenting recommendations to support client requirements
• Experience coordinating and leading planning teams, working groups, and meetings with large groups
• Knowledge of DoD institutional capacity building and assessment, design, monitoring, and evaluation guidance and processes
• Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as part of a team, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks
• Ability to travel through the EUCOM and AFRICOM AORs
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience researching and analyzing legislation and federal regulations, with an emphasis on security cooperation topics
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Experience with DoD pseudo-FMS or FMS equipment and training databases such as SCIP, DSAMS, or SanWeb, and SC databases such as Socium or G-TSCMIS
• Knowledge of U.S. government security cooperation authorities and resources
• Knowledge of formal DoD and U.S. Air Force staffing processes
• Knowledge of project management concepts and processes
• Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Master’s degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, or a related field
• Security Cooperation Basic Certification
• Completion of DISCS Security Cooperation Management Course, Security Cooperation Management Policy, Programs, and Planning Course, or similar Courses

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
