We are seeking an experienced Paid Search and Social Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing paid search and social media advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Twitter Ads, and more. The candidate should also possess expertise in utilizing digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other marketing operations tools. This role will require a detail-oriented, analytical professional who can collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive business results through data-driven strategies. Account management and project management experience are also highly desirable for this position. Additionally, experience within the B2B tech industry, particularly in lead generation tactics aimed at driving prospects into the pipeline, is essential due to the longer sales cycles typically associated with this sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Advertising Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive paid search and social media advertising strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  2. Advertising Platform Management: Manage and optimize campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, ensuring maximum reach and ROI. Meta Ads (formerly Facebook Ads), Twitter Ads, and emerging platforms would be a plus.
  3. Keyword and Audience Research: Conduct thorough research to identify valuable keywords and audience segments. Utilize data-driven insights to identify new growth opportunities and optimize campaigns for peak performance.
  4. Campaign Setup and Optimization: Develop effective campaign structures, ad copy, and targeting strategies. Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns based on data analysis, including bid management, budget allocation, and ad copy revisions.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure that campaigns align with overall marketing and business objectives.
  6. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients or internal stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for campaign updates, reporting, and strategic discussions.
  7. Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project management of advertising campaigns, including timelines, resources, and deliverables. Ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget.
  8. Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and performance reports to stakeholders. Implement tracking and reporting solutions using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant tools.
  9. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging advertising technologies. Make recommendations for testing and implementation as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Testing and Experimentation: Implement A/B testing and experimentation to refine campaign strategies and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in managing paid search and social media advertising campaigns, with proficiency in Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  3. Tool Proficiency: Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other marketing operations tools.
  4. B2B Tech Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience within the B2B tech industry, particularly in lead generation tactics aimed at driving prospects into the pipeline, with an understanding of longer sales cycles.
  5. Account Management: Experience in account management, serving as a liaison between clients or internal stakeholders and the marketing team.
  6. Project Management: Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage campaigns from inception to completion.
  7. Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from data. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  8. Proven Results: A track record of successfully driving business results through paid search and social media advertising campaigns.
  9. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Self-motivation: A self-motivated individual who can work independently, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  1. Experience with other digital marketing platforms such as Meta Ads, Twitter Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or other emerging platforms.
  2. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and platforms, like HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot.
  3. Proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools, like Looker Data Studio, for in-depth data analysis and reporting.
