Simulation Engineer Structural Mechanics (m/f/d)

Job Description:
You will be part of an international team giving CAE support for the product development department. Your responsibility is to run finite element analysis in the fields of structural mechanics & dynamics and to assess the lifetime of structures based on your simulation results. You collaborate with the testing department and external partners to validate & calibrate your simulation methods.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lifetime assessment of structures facing static, thermal and dynamic loadings
2. Running FE analysis in the field of structural mechanics and documenting the results
3. Development and improvement of simulation processes and methods
4. Presentation of results to internal and external customers

Your Profile:

1. PhD / Master in Mechanical Engineering
2. Good understanding in the field of mechanics, dynamics and fatigue of structures
3. Skills in using FE software, e.g. Abaqus, Nastran, HyperWorks
4. Strong analytical skills and conscientious, structural way of working
5. 5+ years of work experience or PhD thesis in the field of structural mechanics
6. Excellent written and verbal German and English communication skills
