Job Description

In an increasingly complex and dynamic business world, corporate research plays a crucial role at Bosch. Corporate Research acts as a driving force and early developer of new technologies and business opportunities that ensure Bosch\’s long-term competitiveness and innovative strength. The strategic orientation and the culture on which it is based are designed to ensure that we not only master the challenges of the future, but also use them as opportunities.

Over a period of up to 18 months, you will work at various stations in Germany and abroad and take on responsible tasks within the areas of Advanced Digital and AI Solutions, Advanced XCross AI physical Systems, Advanced Engineering of Components and Production, and Advanced Technologies. You will work on global projects with technically fascinating and sophisticated Bosch Group products.

Together with us, you will lay the foundation for your future as a manager. For us, leadership means continuously advancing yourself and other people, influencing existing processes and thus achieving challenging, entrepreneurial and meaningful goals.

  1. Decide for yourself which start date is best for you and when your permanent employment contract begins.
  2. Design your program with 4 – 5 stations in agile product areas, corporate start-ups or classic line organizations.
  3. Get to know Bosch during a station abroad.
  4. Supplement your practical experience with a variety of learning and training methods, for which you have an individual budget at your disposal.
  5. Benefit from the network and experience of your personal mentor at management level.

Qualifications

  1. Personality: You have strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You are characterized by flexibility, initiative, and intercultural competence.
  2. Background: You have completed a doctorate in one of the following fields:
  3. Information / Cyber Security – Information Security Engineering
  4. System Design, Cloud Architecture
  5. Data Management
  6. Software / Quantum Computing
  7. AI and data science
  8. Machine learning, deep learning, neural networks
  9. Distributed systems (architecture, communication, software development)
  10. Powerelectronics, Semiconductor.
  11. Experience and Expertise: Depending on your background, you have one or ideally several of the following skills: Java, C++, C, Python, Matlab, ML-Ops, algorithm development, Big Data and cloud-based systems. You have also gained international experience with at least one 3-month stay abroad and completed relevant industry internships. You have a very good command of English and a good command of German.
