Job Description

Senior ASIC Digital Lead – Responsible for the digital design scope across complex ASIC projects. You will drive ownership from specification to integration, lead alignment across stakeholders, and support robust DFT and test strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Take technical responsibility for the digital design scope, coordinating specification, development, and integration across all stakeholders.
  • Act as the central coordination point for all digital design activities while contributing hands‑on to implementation.
  • Derive, consolidate, and implement the digital design concept based on system requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensure proper integration of DFT and ATPG aspects, planning and aligning activities to meet coverage targets.
  • Manage the ATPG/DFT flow across projects, analyze test patterns and silicon data to identify root causes, and drive targeted improvements.
  • Develop automation solutions and integrate new tools to enhance efficiency and standardization.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completed university studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable subject.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Several years in digital ASIC development, including top‑level integration; strong expertise in ATPG, test methodologies, coverage analysis; hands‑on experience with ATPG tools; failure analysis using pattern and silicon data; proven Digital Lead experience in project environments; coordination of external partners and cross‑functional teams; solid understanding of digital verification and validation; strong scripting skills (Python, Tcl, or shell); methodology and flow development in digital and ATPG domains.
  • Personality and Working Practice: Structured, responsible, goal‑oriented approach; strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
  • Salary: Gross annual salary of at least €88,000 for a 35‑hour week (full year, eligibility based on collective agreements). Performance‑related pay, bonus based on company success, and Bosch pension plan employer benefits apply.
