Your primary mission is to guide a team of talented data scientists to deliver cutting‑edge, production‑grade AI features for our industrial applications. You are expected to translate high‑level vision into concrete action and drive projects from conception to completion.
Your role will combine deep technical expertise with outstanding leadership and strategic planning. You will mentor your team, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high‑performing, integrated AI features.
Core Responsibilities

- Mentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance and fostering growth in machine learning and data science practices.
- Define the technical strategy and architecture for production‑grade time‑series ML systems, focusing on AI algorithm research, feature pipeline innovation, and the research‑to‑production path.
- Drive engineering excellence by establishing and enforcing high standards for ML development through design reviews, architecture proposals, code reviews, and reusable libraries.
- Manage stakeholders, working closely with product owners, the SW Engineering team, and business stakeholders to align technical direction, manage expectations, and communicate progress and risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics is highly preferred; a Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience will be considered.
- Leadership experience: Proven experience in a technical leadership capacity, with a strong track record of leading and mentoring AI/data science teams and delivering complex projects.
- Time‑series expertise: Deep expertise in developing ML solutions for time‑series, sensor, or industrial IoT data, with hands‑on experience in at least two of the following: anomaly detection, classification, concept drift detection, or explainable AI.
- ML tooling: Practical experience with classical ML and deep‑learning frameworks (e.g., scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM).
- Production ML experience: Demonstrated end‑to‑end MLOps experience, including designing and delivering production ML workflows on cloud platforms (Azure ML/Databricks, AWS, or GCP).
- Software engineering acumen: Strong Python programming skills and the ability to build maintainable, testable, production‑quality ML software, including modern CI/CD and testing tools.
Benefits
- Flexible working models: part‑time options, mobile working, and job sharing.
- Diversity and inclusion: We welcome all applications, regardless of gender, age, disability, religion, ethnic origin, or sexual identity (EEO statement).
