Software QA Engineer
who is passionate about breaking things, automating processes, and ensuring seamless user experiences. Your role
As a QA Engineer, you will work alongside developers, product managers, and infrastructure engineers to ensure our web, mobile, and backend applications are reliable, secure, and performant. You will champion shift-left testing, integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines, and leverage modern tools to keep up with rapid release cycles. Review requirements, user stories, and technical specs to create test plans, test cases, and checklists. Design, write, and maintain robust automated test suites (integration, UI, module, system). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI). Execute manual testing for complex user experiences, edge cases, and usability. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on testing authentication, input validation, API security. Log detailed, reproducible bugs with clear steps, logs, screenshots, and video captures. Your profile
3+ years of experience in software QA engineering. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch. Solid experience in manual testing of web applications. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle. Frontend Testing: Experience with component testing is a plus. CI/CD Basics: Understanding of pipeline triggers, artifacts, and environment variables (GitLab CI). Version Control: Branching, merging, and reviewing pull requests (GitHub/GitLab). Test Management: Kiwi or similar. Analytical thinking: Break down complex requirements into test scenarios. Communication: Write clear bug reports and explain quality risks to non-technical stakeholders. Curiosity: Eagerness to learn new tools, including AI-augmented testing.
