Critical Responsibilities
Ensuring seamless weekly staffing operations, including running a smooth and efficient process to identify resourcing requirements and deploy talent, taking into account both commercial needs and individual development needs and preferences, with a clear focus on maximizing utilization across our CE consulting staff
Providing leadership to the G&A Staffing team, including guiding and coaching team members in their day-to-day operations, supporting in problem‑solving, and navigating (local and cross‑CE) escalations, as required
Working closely with the CE Staffing MDP and the CE BD Chair, serving as a critical thought partner on investment decisions and trade‑offs, grounded in a strong understanding of the broader business agenda, commercial priorities, and available capacity
Shaping and driving strategic staffing projects across CE to address priorities that emerge, drawing on data and insights to identify challenges and work through solutions; current priorities include adopting team builder, harmonizing new hire staffing across CE, and supporting digital tool adoption, with the portfolio evolving with the needs of the business
Defining and maintaining CE‑wide staffing standards, decision frameworks, and escalation paths, ensuring consistency of practice across G&A, SUI, and CEE. Proactively identifying evolving business needs, proposing solutions, and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in the staffing operating model to enhance transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness (e.g., seamless handling of cross‑CE staffing requests)
Preparing and presenting regular, transparent updates to leadership covering supply, demand, and utilization (both historical and forecast) in collaboration with the People Analytics team within TMU and our Finance teams
Representing CE staffing in global and regional forums and contributing to best‑practice exchange across BCG as well as leveraging digital tools and GenAI to continuously improve how the team works
What You'll Bring
University degree, ideally with a focus on business management, human resources, psychology, or a related field
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in HR, staffing, or a comparable role within a dynamic, service‑oriented, or professional services environment
Proven experience managing complex staffing or workforce topics, including end‑to‑end process ownership and implementation responsibility
Strong stakeholder relationship skills at all levels of the organization; credible, responsive, and able to navigate complex discussions and hold positions under pressure, including at senior leadership level
Demonstrated leadership experience, including direct people management and/or functional leadership responsibility
Experience driving cross‑functional projects and process improvements, ideally within a regional or multi‑office setup
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to frame complex topics clearly, drive to conclusions based on data and expertise, and bring people along
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
Who You'll Work With You’ll report to the CE TM Senior Director and work closely with the CE Staffing MDP as your key senior stakeholder on strategic priorities and escalations. You will have direct reports in the G&A Staffing team and collaborate closely with the staffing teams in SUI and CEE. You’ll work closely with the broader CE TMU Leadership Team as well as our Consulting Team at all levels of the business.
