Join our team at Boston Scientific as a (Senior) Specialist in Health Economics & Market Access for Rhythm Management in the DACH region . Located in Düsseldorf with a hybrid work model, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative medical solutions.

About the Role

The main responsibility is to support strategy development and implementation within the HEMA department, focusing on market access and reimbursement strategies for Boston Scientific\’s products, including the FARAPULSE PFA System. You will represent the company with relevant stakeholders, adapt health economic models, and utilize local data to enhance commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies for optimal reimbursement of products and procedures.
  2. Assess reimbursement opportunities and communicate their impact.
  3. Convey reimbursement strategies to marketing and sales teams.
  4. Conduct database and market analyses, and present health economic results.
  5. Organize internal and external training sessions.
  6. Monitor policy developments affecting reimbursement.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent Boston Scientific at industry events.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Health Economics or related field, with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in market access or health economics, ideally in medtech or healthcare sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare systems in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • Motivated, results-oriented, with excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • High social competence, communication skills, and fluency in German and English.
  • International experience and willingness to travel (~20%) are advantageous.
