Housekeeping/Maid

The Egyptian Embassy in Berlin is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Maid to maintain the cleanliness, order, and charm of the ambassador’s residence. This role goes beyond tidying—it’s about creating an environment that reflects Egyptian hospitality with a touch of warmth, and elegance. You’ll be ensuring the residence is as welcoming as a cup of Egyptian hibiscus tea!

Tasks

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization to keep the ambassador’s attire presentation-ready.
• Assist with meal preparation and table setting when needed, making every space “dinner-party ready” style.
• Ensure the residence reflects the pride, tradition, and cultural elegance of Egypt.
• Handle small errands or special requests with discretion and reliability.
• Support in event organisation

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a private residence or embassy setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively.
• Discretion, professionalism, and respect for privacy are essential.
• English is required, German and Arabic are preferred.
