Planning Transformation Manager (fix term until 2027.April)

The Temporary Planning Transformation Manager supports the EU Planning Manager in driving key planning transformation initiatives across the region. The role focuses on enhancing the maturity and execution of S&OE and S&OP processes, strengthening cross‑functional alignment, and supporting the adoption of improved planning standards.

A critical part of this role is working closely with the Global Center of Excellence (CoE) to align on global standards, deploy procedures, and help build the capability of local planning teams across EU sites.

In this role You will:

S&OE / S&OP Process Improvement

  • Own and drive the continuous improvement of S&OE workflows across Auto and Industrial.
  • Lead the strengthening of the monthly S&OP cycle (data quality, handovers, meeting flow, inputs/outputs).
  • Identify bottlenecks and performance gaps, partnering with Planning and Scheduling teams to design and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Ensure consistent adoption and improved routines are followed consistently, bringing up risks where adherence is not met.

Planning Transformation Delivery

  • Work closely with Planning Reset PMO, ensuring planning transformation initiatives are completed to plan, achievements are met, and benefits are realised.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise across production planning, supply planning, and manufacturing
  • Drive current‑state to future‑state processes and gap analyses

Cross‑functional Leadership & Integration

  • Serve as a bridge across Production, Planning, Demand, Customer Fulfillment and other Supply Chain functions.
  • Facilitate structured issue resolution, ensuring clear ownership, decision tracking, and timely closure of actions.
  • Provide insights to enable root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Change Enablement & Capability Building

  • Coach and enable site teams on improved planning and S&OE routines.
  • Promote a culture of planning excellence, transparency, and accountability.
  • Contribute insight to Global CoE-driven initiatives, including planning maturity assessments, capability frameworks, templates, and governance models.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong background in production planning, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Experience interacting with S&OP/S&OE processes preferred.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence without authority.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Comfortable working in transformation environments with evolving processes.
  • Familiarity with planning systems SAP and Kinaxis.
  • Structured problem solver with attention to detail
  • Collaborative and open communicator
  • Proactive attitude with strong follow through
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity
  • Hands on approach with strong operational understanding
