We are looking for an intern focusing on sales and finance, who wants hands-on experience and to understand what it takes to bring new products to market, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and can grow our sales.
Responsibilities
- Customer Outreach: Engage with restaurants and other partners to introduce our products and drive sales.
- Customer Presentations: Help with sales presentations, pitches, and client follow-ups.
- Order Management: Ensure smooth order processing, coordinate shipments, and manage the sales pipeline from inquiry to delivery.
- Invoicing: Generate accurate invoices for clients and ensure timely payments, helping to streamline the sales process.
- Event and Fair Organization:
- Event Support: Assist with planning and organizing corporate events, exhibitions, and trade fairs.
- Fair Participation: Help coordinate our participation in fairs, ensuring materials are prepared and logistics are in place for a smooth event experience.
- Finance Support:
- Invoice Management: Track and locate missing invoices, upload financial documents, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including tracking expenses and preparing reports.
- Spendesk Monitoring: Verify invoices and expenses on Spendesk to ensure correct financial tracking and reporting.
- Overall Support: Help with budgeting and forecasting and conducting financial research and analysis to aid in decision-making.
What You Contribute
- Pursuing or just finished a degree in Business, Finance, Sales or a related field.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Analytical thinking to assess market trends and performance data.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally & internationally as required.
- Ability to use GoogleDrive & proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Some previous experience in sales/finance (internship, part-time work) is beneficial but not always required.
Must Haves
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- You are eligible to work within the EU.
- You are self-motivated and proactive.
